Chance Lewis and Apt did it again, bringing live Hip Hop to Provo at Muse Music Cafe. The variety and styles of the performers keeps the show interesting and full of energy. The shows that Lewis puts together gives new artist the opportunity to perform and get the experience, exposure, and audience they need to take their music to the next level, meaning out of the studio (living room, bedroom, and basement) and into a crowd of hungry hip hop heads.
The line up for June was: Chance Lewis, Apt, Bonus Bandits, Shawty and the Beast, MC Untytled, Al The Golden Child (Liquid Army), Dream Eater, and DJ Chu of The Crate Dwellers. There was even a cameo by DJ Matthoffman – Idaho’s best DJ.
Now I must admit I wasn’t there to witness MC Untytled and Al The Golden Child, two of the new performers to join the ranks of local Hip Hop, but I did watch everyone else rock the mic. So if you missed last night’s show here is a highlight reel courtesy of Urban Media.
