Provo’s own Elaine Bradley, drummer of the popular Neon Trees, is now in an “I’m a Mormon” campaign video – part of a mass marketing campaign for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This video was released just weeks after Tyler Glenn, lead singer of Neon Trees, came out as gay in Rolling Stone magazine. Whether it was just coincidental timing or a way for the Church to take advantage of the Tyler Glenn news is unsure.
This isn’t the first time a member of a popular band has been featured. Brandon Flowers, lead singer of The Killers, was also in a Mormon video back in 2011.
