Millennial Youth Pirates’ New Video Features Kate Hansen, Mindy Gledhill

The new music video is packed with familiar faces and local landmarks

Millennial Youth Pirates just released their first single, โ€œDance Love.โ€ The video was shot in Provo and features a few local celebrities you might recognize.

California native Kate Hansen came in 10th place in the Sochi 2014 Olympics in the luge race. Hansen is currently attending Brigham Young University and stars alongside fellow Mormon, Mindy Gledhill, in the music video for Millennial Youth Pirateโ€™s first single โ€œDance Love.โ€ Hansen is well-known for being seen dancing with headphones while warming up for events, so itโ€™s not surprising to see her dancing down the streets of Provo in this video.

The video starts with Hansen walking out of apartments most locals will recognize. She then dances her way to the steps of the Utah County Justice building, where she has something of a dance-off with Mindy Gledhill, Provo Mayor John Curtis, and Courtney Kendrick (sister of Stephanie Nielson). Kate then makes her way down to the NuSkin building where she and other dancers rock out with the โ€œYโ€ on the mountain in the background. We also get cameos from Velourโ€˜s Kaneischa Johnson as well as Brady Parks, guitarist and singer from Provo band The National Parks (heโ€™s the one on the elevator).

In the film Hansen sports a sick watch fromย Arvo, the local vendor sponsoring the video. Watch it below, and make sure to like Millennial Youth Pirates on Facebook.
