On Thursday, January 28th, Foreign Figures will be releasing the first single from their upcoming album. Joining them will be LA’s The Federal Empire and local favorites Spirit City. On Friday, January 29th, Velour cranks up the nostalgia with a huge reunion show! The show features longtime local favorites Seve Vs Evan and the reunion of 3 favorites from Velour’s history: Eyes Lips Eyes, Chasing Kings, and Kid Theodore. Bringing the end of a huge week of shows to a close is another night of reunions. Return to Sender, Boots to the Moon, The John Whites, and The Eden Express will all be returning to Velour’s stage in honor of its 10th anniversary. Per usual with Velour, doors to all of these shows open at 8PM. Shows will start around 8:30.
Muse Music
On Thursday, January 28, come enjoy a night of ska music at Muse Music on Center street. The Anchorage, Be Like Max from Las Vegas, and others are set to perform. Tickets are $7. Doors open at 8PM.
Saturday, January 30th, Lost in Bourbon, Boise Idaho’s The Hucksters, and Queenadilla will take the stage. Tickets are $7 at the door, and doors open at 8PM.
Gezzo Hall
Two touring artists are visiting Gezzo Hall Saturday, January 30th. Keelan Donovan is touring in support of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s Megan Davies for her Wandering Out West Tour. Provo’s Jessica Frech, known for her large YouTube following, will also be performing. Tickets are $10. Doors open at 7:30PM.
The Wall
BYU’s restaurant/venue, located on the bottom floor of the Wilkinson Student Center, will be holding regular Open Mic and Karaoke nights on Tuesday and Wednesday – both at 8 PM. As of the posting of this article, there are no shows scheduled for this weekend, but there is a latin dance night on Saturday, January 30th at 7:30 PM.
Audio West Recording Studios & Event Center (Formerly The Stereo Room)
This Saturday, Sepia Ria, Suit Up Soldier, The Solarists, Ryan Waite (of Family Reunion) will perform at Audio West in Orem. Tickets are $7 pre sale, $8 at the door. Doors open at 7 PM.
