Shows This Week (3/15/2016-3/20/2016)

Catch shows at all the regular venues in the Valley – plus some special events this week!

Velour Live Music Gallery

Wednesday, March 16th will be a different night at Velour. Alex Cooper, author of the book Saving Alexwill be speaking on how she survived conversion therapy. Tyler Glenn of Neon Trees will be performing two special musical numbers. The event begins at 7PM. Tickets are $7. Grab them here.

Thursday, March 17th, Velour will continue to step outside the norm by having four DJs perform. Arloe will be releasing his Strike Gold EP, and will be joined by KiD MACHiNE, House of Melk, and Willy Eklof. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Saturday, March 19th, Space Venture Coalition is putting on a space-themed rock opera. Doors open at 8PM. Tickets are $10 online.

Muse Music

Friday, March 18th, Colours in the Basement will be joined by Sea Elephant and No Robot on the Muse stage.

On Saturday, March 19th, Queenadilla will headline, The Cold Year will be releasing an album, and The Cabin Project will be joining us from Portland, Oregon.

Tickets to these shows are $7 at the door. Doors open at 8PM.

Gezzo Hall

Friday, March 18th, Gezzo Hall will be hosting Shaun Canon ft. Missy Lynn, and RedSleeves. Doors open at 8PM. $8 for general admission. $25 for VIP tickets.

Saturday, March 19th, Sepia Ria will be joined by The Salt, The Sea, and The Sun God, Paint the Woods, and Dream Collage. Doors open at 7:30PM. $8 for general admission, $12 for VIP tickets.

The Wall

The Wall on BYU Campus will be holding a Battle of The Bands competition this week starting tonight, Tuesday March 15th, and running through Friday, March 18th. The competition starts every night at 7PM and will cost $5 at the door. Prizes are being generously supplied by Noisebox Studios.

Audio West Recording Studios & Event Center (Formerly The Stereo Room)

As of the writing of this article, Audio West has not announced any shows for this week.

Special Events

This Sunday, March 20th, The Medusa Collective is putting on a show at Studio Studio Dada. Officer Jenny will be performing, as will Alyssa Diane Pyper and National Pleasure. This performance will be held at 6PM, and, as they have put it, “hella tea” will be provided.

On Saturday, March 19th, Hellogoodbye will be performing in the BYU Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom. Tickets are $7 each. You can purchase them here. Doors open at 7:30 PM.
