Yesterday, the Utah Music Awards released the full list of nominees for their 2016 awards show. There were 128 project submissions from 25 different countries. Artists will be up for awards in 16 different categories, including Best New Artist, Best Artist Under 18, Best Music Video, and other awards based on genre. The list of award winners from last year include artists like Former Tides, Foreign Figures, Ashley Hess, Robert Landes, and Jessica Frech. For the complete list of nominees, click here.
In addition to the awards ceremony, The UMA’s will also feature live performances from past winners Foreign Figures and The Piano Gal. It will also include performances from artists like Oli K and Yolanda Arrey.
The Utah Music Awards will be held at the Covey Center for the Arts in downtown Provo, Utah on September 17th, 2016 at 7PM. Tickets are available at the Covey Center for the Arts website for $15.
