Last Saturday, the 2016 Utah Music Awards took place at the Covey Center for the Arts in Downtown Provo, Utah. Awards were given for the winners of 16 different categories. Nominees included artists like Brickson, [NATIVE/TONGUE], TREN, and Whitney Lusk. These nominees were selected out of 128 project submissions from 25 different countries. The Utah Music Awards does not take a comprehensive look at all music made in the state of Utah. Winners were selected from submissions only.
