Eden, Utah – a tiny town with a permanent population of only 600 residents. Located in Weber County and 55 miles from the Salt Lake Airport, it’s the home of Powder Mountain ski resort. This resort is the largest ski resort in the US when it comes to the amount of skiable land. After such a snow-abundant winter, Utah locals and skiers from abroad are going to have a field day navigating the 54 trails, nine lifts, and two terrain parks.

This year, the Rocky Mountain States Hillclimb Association, or RMSHA, is partnering with Triple Crown Sports to celebrate closing weekend at Powder Mountain. Dubbed HillFest, it’s scheduled for April 7-9 and is billed as a proper closing party to what has already been a truly epic winter season.

HillFest boasts three days of hillclimb races, featuring some of the sport’s top athletes, including Keith Curtis, 2022 Racer of the Year Cole Thomas, Riley Kincaid, Jay Mentaberry, Tiffany McWilliams and more.

Live music will surround these races and begins at noon each day. This year’s lineup features The California Honeydrops, Duane Betts, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Moontricks, Cycles, Dead Floyd, Cousin Curtiss, comedy-music duo Ginger Whale, and Ogden locals The Proper Way.

Tickets for HillFest are on sale now, along with discounted lodging options in downtown Ogden and Powder Mountain. Parking options are limited at Powder Mountain, but General Admission and VIP Parking Options will be available, along with UTA bus service to and from Ogden (extended through closing weekend).
