2023 was a wild year for Citizen Soldier. Capitalizing on a steady stream of viral TikToks and massive YouTube growth, the band sold out a national acoustic tour and was able to land some major collaborations for 2024. Now, they’ve announced plans for another massive headlining tour โ€“ this time full-band instead of acoustic.

The alt rock group will play 14 shows in two-and-a-half weeks, from April 26 to May 11. They’ll return to mainstay cities like Denver, Colorado; Columbus, Ohio; Greensboro, North Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; and Atlanta, Georgia.

This time around, though, the band will add Lincoln, Nebraska; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Flint, Michigan; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; New York City; and Baltimore, Maryland to their list of stops.

“Fans have been asking for a headline tour for a while now,” says Citizen Soldier frontman Jake Segura. “In the past we’ve only been able to play for a half-hour as an opener. We can’t wait to be able to play 14 to 16 songs a night and play our newest songs as well as old favorites.”

The band has added more VIP experiences and is looking forward to connecting with fans on a deeper level. “That’s obviously the most important part of all this,” says Segura. “We have some fun surprises in store. Unreleased song performances and live collaborations with the other bands are definitely not off the table. We are all-in on making this an experience worth road-tripping and traveling for.”

Icon For Hire and Halocene will join Citizen Soldier on tour. Icon For Hire hails from Decatur, Illinois and Halocene is from Phoenix, Arizona. Both bands have had long and successful careers and have earned millions of streams and hundreds of thousands of followers online.

“We’re especially excited to be bringing along Icon For Hire and Halocene,” Segura says. “We have great respect for both bands and know our fans will embrace them and their excellent music.”

Towards the end of the tour, the band will make their way to Daytona Beach, Florida for Welcome to Rockville. Welcome to Rockville is a hard rock and heavy metal music festival held over four days at the Daytona International Speedway. 2023’s festival welcomed 170,000 attendees. Past headliners include Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Pantera, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Korn, and Soundgarden.

The tour will kick off on April 26, 2024 at The Complex in Salt Lake City. Tickets are on sale now. Sound Check VIP and Tour Bus VIP tickets have already sold out in half a dozen cities, and low ticket availability has been reported for the other dates. If you’re hoping to meet the band, act soon.

In the meantime, check out the band’s latest release. The acoustic version of “Through Hell” features fellow Utahns Royal Bliss.
