Getting started nearly two years ago, bellagrace has already seen the shifts in sounds and gathering of fans many local artists take much longer to see. Her first single followed a tried and true singer-songwriter format, but her sound has taken a more alternative direction since adopting a live band about a year ago.

A bellagrace show is intimate and she makes it easy for the audience to connect with her emotionally. Her songs carry a lot of instrumental and lyrical weight that encourages the audience to have a much more engaged concert experience rather than being a passive listener. Her shows have a soundtrack sound to them, with each performance feeling almost like a movie score rather than a collection of songs. 

In the last year, she has been able to feed off of her bandmates’ energy and has cultivated a sound that is more distinctly hers. This sound led to her success in battle of the bands at the Boardwalk and Velour. At her Les Femmes performance, she will be playing two new songs to showcase the new, more heavy-hitting era she’s entering.
