Michael Barrow & The Tourists is an indie rock band from Provo, Utah that blends elements of folk rock with blue eyed soul. They’ve toured nationally, playing with artists like Sub Radio, The National Parks, and Ben Rector.

The band is poised to release 4 new songs this year, plus a collaboration with CAYSN on April 26 entitled “So Above.” Previously, Michael Barrow performed “Sweet Honey” for Provo Music Magazine. For this acoustic session, frontman Michael Barrow revisited “Momma Said,” one of the band’s most successful songs from their 2021 album Clover. This performance was shot live at June Audio. The audio was engineered and mixed by Mason Winter.
Royalties from these acoustic sessions are split equally between the artist, the audio engineers, and Provo Music Magazine. Every time you stream, you support local artists, local studios, and local music journalism. It’s just one innovative way we’re building a sustainable, well funded music industry in Utah.
