Today’s episode of the Provo Music Magazine Acoustic Sessions once again features Mitch Squires and Caleb Browning โ€“ two members of Provo’s emo/pop punk outfit Hollow Hill. The two perform “I Won’t,” another folky tune from their acoustic EP Lost But Not Forgotten.

The full band consists of Mitch Squires, Caleb Browning, and Owen Ferguson. Hollow Hill’s usual sound sits somewhere between TikTok-era post-indie rock and pop/punk and emo. Their ability to juggle post-indie, heavier rock sounds, and folk made them the perfect candidates as openers on a sold out acoustic tour last October with Citizen Soldier. Their new song, “Down Went The Sun” drops July 25, 2024.
