Saturday, August 17, will bring “The Battle for Sandy Ampitheater” where four bands will compete in a mini-Battle of the Bands for the chance to open for the National Parks in Sandy. Seaslak, Local Kin, Avintaquin, and Brysn will play at 7:30 PM. RSVPs are sold out, but you can try getting in at the door.

Java Junkie
Lampshade Acoustic Night returns on Thursday, August 15, at 7:30 PM. Performances will be from Abby Lee, Aaron Sedrick, Rachel James, Kelsey Nay, and Samuel Charles.
Java Junkie normally has an open mic night every Friday at 7 PM. Free admission.
On Saturday, August 17, Stranded at Home, Orchard of Strings, and Flying Coffee Beans will perform. Music starts at 7 PM.
The Pearl on Main
Tuesday, August 13 at 7 PM, The Pearl on Main in Midvale will host Lacerated, Writhe in Fear, and MyPetSpider. Tickets can be purchased here.

American Fork Concerts in the Park
Today, August 12, the American Fork Concerts in the Park series will host a Tom Petty tribute concert at the American Fork Ampitheater at 7 PM. Admission is free and more information can be found here.
