In case you were unaware, Treefort Music Fest is a multi-day music festival hosted in Boise, Idaho and has been running since 2012. The festival focuses on up-and-coming artists and indie groups, and whatever perceived lack there is for not having the biggest of the big names attending is more than made up for by the sheer scale and number of new artists there are to discover. This year there are HUNDREDS of incredible artists on the bill (yes, hundreds. You read that right), so there’s no way we could list them all out for you here.

That said, a few highlights include the daily headliners Shakey Graves, Remi Wolf, Sofi Tukker, and Bright Eyes as well as a bunch of great Utah bands like Cardinal Bloom, The Mellons, Krooked Kings, and Backhand. You can check out the poster above or the alphabetized list on the festival’s website for the full lineup!

In addition to the music, Treefort Fest also includes 13 additional “forts” dedicated to other topics like indie film, comedy, tech, food, and so much more. There’s bound to be something for you and your crew if you need a break from the music. (Note: Some, but not all of the other forts require additional purchases or tickets. Be sure to check out all the details on the festival’s website.)

This year’s festival will take place March 26-30, 2025. Tickets are on sale now, and prices will continue to rise until the start of the festival, so snag yours now. In the meantime, check out “Purple Hat” from Saturday’s headliner, Sofi Tukker!
