If you thought we were nearing the end of all the excellent concert series here in Provo for 2025, think again because there’s always more opportunities right around the corner to see fantastic music! Last month, Covey Center for the Arts in Provo announced their lineup for the 2025-2026 Excellence Concert Series, with the first show coming up later this week!
The Excellence Concert Series is an annual collection of concerts that take place at or around the Covey Center with the goal of building community and showcasing talent. Each show is free for all to attend thanks to a partnership with Excellence in the Community, an organization that both provides meaningful performance opportunities for professional musicians in Utah as well as connects the community to those professional performances. The organization aims to “ensure that the joy of live music is accessible to all” and “create unforgettable experiences that not only showcase local talent but also celebrate the cultural richness and diversity of our state.”

The 2025-2026 season at Covey will feature everything from tributes to music greats, Broadway-themed performances, big band in the park, and much more! The full schedule for the season is as follows:
- July 5, 2025: “New Deal Swing Band and Friends”
- August 4, 2025: “Senxao: High Energy Latin Dance Music”
- September 5, 2025: “An Evening of Broadway with Nola Richardson”

- October 27, 2025: “A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkle by Code Blue Revival”
- November 25, 2025: “Lark & Spur 20th Anniversary Concert”
- January 26, 2026: “Take 5: A Tribute to Sinatra”
- May 25, 2026: “Patriotic Memorial Day Concert with the 23rd Army Band”
- Sundays, June 2026: Summer Band Series at Pioneer Park
- June 29, 2026: “James Taylor and Carole King: A Tribute”
“By hosting these concerts in our downtown Provo venue, we continue the effort to ensure live music isnโt limited to big cities or expensive tickets,” says the Covey Center blog. Community, accessibility, AND great music? We couldn’t be more excited.

Tickets for these events are already available on the Covey Center website. Once again, they are free, though seating is limited, so make sure to claim your spot today! Be sure to follow both the Covey Center and Excellence in the Community on Instagram to keep up to date with the latest details!
