Utah County’s music scene is about to get a little more Nashville sparkle. Nashville in the Rockies – a newly founded nonprofit dedicated to enriching communities through music education and performance – is hosting its first annual Country Christmas Concert this Saturday, December 6th at 7 PM at Cedar Haven Ranch in Eagle Mountain.

Nashville in the Rockies was founded by Susie Brown, a Utah County native whose music career has taken her to some of country’s biggest stages. After performing alongside stars like Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Trisha Yearwood, Reba, and Carrie Underwood, and signing with Warner Music, Brown returned home to discover an impressive stock of local talent waiting for opportunities to shine.

The organization provides workshops, masterclasses, school programs, scholarships, and performance opportunities ranging from open mics to community events and service projects. The upcoming Country Christmas event represents the nonprofit’s first major community showcase, and it’s shaping up to be something special.

The concert will feature nine local country singer-songwriters, including Cody Robbins, Maddie Wilson, Jackson Hartley, Alivia Hadfield, Susie Brown herself, Whitney Lusk, and Alex Elggren.

This event also includes a kids’ craft zone, a horse photo booth, a prize drawing, and games and activities for all ages.
