Velour Live Music Gallery

Tuesday, December 16, is the Utah Ladies Songwriter Round featuring Emily Bea, Emily Hicks, Alicia Stockman, and Amy Geis. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available here.

Velour will hold their weekly open mic night on Wednesday, December 17. This week, holiday songs are encouraged. Doors open at 8 PM.

Night 1 of Velour’s All-Star Christmas Special is Friday, December 19 at 7:30 PM. Artists include Little Moon, Katie Henderson of The Aces, Kyle Henderson of Desert Noises, Joey St. John of Cardinal Bloom, Paul Jacobsen, Goldmyth, Jordan Moyes, Garon Brett, Caleb Darger, Chris Bennion, The LoveStrange, Ava Stone of Aurhe, and Ryan Call. Night 2 of Velour’s All-Star Christmas Special is Saturday, December 20 at 7:30 PM. Artists include Joshua James, Robert Loud of both Fictionist and The Killers, Ryan Innes, EJ Michels, Jenn Blosil, Cory Mon, Timmy The Teeth, Susie Brown, Mia Hicken of Drusky, Dallin Major, Avintaquin, Cherish DeGraaf, and Monkey Paw. Java Junkie

Java Junkie normally has an open mic night every Friday at 7 PM. Free admission.

On Saturday, December 20, Evan Seal and Remus will perform. 7 PM. Free admission.

B-Side HiFi

Step into the enigmatic realm of B-Side HiFi, a sonic sanctuary on Center Street above 3hive Record Lounge. Come hear music on a vintage Thorens TD160 MKII turntable, a McIntosh MC275 vacuum tube amplifier, and their exquisite dual speaker setup: The Pioneer Exclusive (TAD) speakers from the 1970s paired with the modern Zu Soul 6 speakers.

ABGโ€™s

ABGโ€™s Bar on Center has music every Friday from 10 PM until last call. This week’s lineup is a Disco Sandwich, featuring a DJ set by alexisisamirror, an hour of disco from Lindenfield, and then a DJ set from Lindenfield. $5 at the door. Shows are 21+. Follow ABGโ€™s on Instagram here.

The Toaster Oven

Every Sunday, The Toaster Oven at 56 N 500 E, Provo UT hosts queer songwriting workshops with Ida Grey from 6 to 8 PM. The workshops follow a four-week rotation, and all are welcome! More information available here.

The Rise

The Rise will host their weekly Open Mic Night this Wednesday at 7 PM.

The Rise will hold a Christmas concert on Saturday, December 20 from 6-9 PM. The show features Atlas Odyssey, Pediatricians, SKUNKPUNK, 3 Morons, and Prospero. Tickets are $15 here.

Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse

On Wednesday, December 17, and Thursday, December 18, Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse will present Holiday From the Holidays, featuring Groove Trader, Infinite Mellon Collie, Jukebox Antihero, Radio Motion, Last Impression, Lies & Lullabies, and Vicious Beat. 7:30 PM at The Soundbox in Pleasant Grove. A-Frame Concert Series

On Thursday, December 18, The A-Frame Concert Series presents EVENSONG at 7:30 PM. The annual Christmas tradition is sold out.

SCERA

Come enjoy an evening of Christmas music on Tuesday, December 16 at 7 PM. The show is presented by SCERA Chamber Singers, a new adult audition choir, directed by Miriam Burton. They will be joined by Provo Community Orchestra, directed by Rebecca Stoker, for a festive mix of vocal and instrumental talent that will bring the holiday spirit. Get tickets here.

Seven Brothers Riverwoods

Each Friday, from 6-8 PM, Seven Brothers hosts live music from Kieran Hellum at their Provo Riverwoods location.

Slackwater Pizza Riverwoods

Kieran Hellum also performs live music each Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM at Slackwater Pizza in Provo.

Hungry Hawaiian

Hungry Hawaiian has Island Music every Friday and Saturday from 6-8 PM.

Fancy Burger

Every Friday and Saturday night from 6-9 PM, Fancy Burger in Orem has live jazz. Check their Instagram for updated info.
