Merry Christmas From The Team At Provo Music Magazine

We love you, Utah.

To our friends in Provo, across Deseret, and wherever this music has found you:

Another year has come and gone, and once again we find ourselves humbled by the people who make this scene what it is. What started just a few short years ago as a hopeful idea from some guy in his bedroom has grown into something real, durable, and deeply meaningful. Provo Music Magazine is a family now. A family of writers and photographers; artists and fans; indie entrepreneurs and local institutions.

That doesnโ€™t happen by accident. It happens because the community chooses to believe in itself. We start new venues and festivals when beloved ones close; we celebrate the lives of those who pass on; we gather in Provo music scene town halls for the free exchange of ideas; and we set aside our differences for the greater good of the community.

This year reminded us that Utah music isnโ€™t defined by a single sound or scene. Itโ€™s defined by collaboration and sacrifice.

Looking ahead, weโ€™re excited. Not because everything is finished, but because it isnโ€™t. The Provo music scene continues to grow more organized, more ambitious, and more welcoming. Step by step, year by year, itโ€™s becoming something that can stand confidently on the national stage without losing what made it special in the first place.

As we head into 2026, we believe the best work is still ahead of us. If we keep collaborating, encouraging each other, and finding ways to serve beyond ourselves, thereโ€™s no limit to what this community can become.

Thank you for reading, listening, creating, supporting, and caring. Thank you for trusting us to be a small part of this story.

May the peace and generosity of the season rest upon your homes. May your hearts be light, your rooms be loud, and your coming year be filled with good songs and good people.

Merry Christmas,
The Provo Music Magazine Team
