The Killers recently kicked off the tour for their new album Battle Born, and Orem was their second tour stop. Last night Brandon Flowers and the Killers performed at the UCCU Center in Orem to a sold out crowd of die hard Killers fans. The Killers took the stage to thousands of screams and kicked off the concert with one their biggest hits, “Mr. Brightside.” Throughout the concert they played various hits as well as some of their new songs from the album Battle Born. Twitter feeds were slammed with tweets about the concert last night and every single one raved about what an amazing show they put on.
Brandon Flowers, a Utah native and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, always gets a sold out crowd when coming to Utah. Tickets sold out immediately, with prices ranging anywhere from $28-$53. Tickets were reselling for an average of $120-$350 a ticket on various ticket websites. Needless to say, if you want to see The Killers in Utah, buy your ticket the second they open up or get ready to shell out some serious cash.
After an amazing night in Orem, The Killers are headed off to Canada to perform in Vancouver. If you missed their performance last night in Orem, their next closest stop will be in fabulous Las Vegas, NV. They will be performing in The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas two nights in a row on December 28th and 29th.
