Velour is celebrating their 10 year anniversary on Wednesday, January 13. This is Velour’s actual anniversary, and they’re celebrating with a private event. If you’ve gotten an invite, kudos to you. If not, don’t worry! The New Electric Sound, The LoveStrange, Deadtooth, and Mad Max & The Wild Ones are performing on Saturday, January 16th. You can purchase tickets to this show at 24tix.com.
Muse Music
Spanish Fork native Andrew Wiscombe will be releasing his album “The River, The Lark, The Pine” on Friday, January 15. Joining him will be Tate Sexton, Wish Granted Records’ Belle Jewel, and The Real Doug Lane. Saturday, Salt Lake’s Johanna Johanna, Our Lives In Indigo, and Colours In The Basement will round out a weekend of folk music at Muse. Both shows start at 8 PM, and both are $7.
Gezzo Hall
On Friday, January 15th Provo’s Alpine Loop and Grey Glass will join Salt Lake’s The Departure and Moorpark, California’s Skin & Bones at Gezzo Hall. Doors open at 8 PM. Tickets are $7 presale and $10 at the door. You can buy tickets online from Gezzo Hall here. Come enjoy Gezzo Hall’s spacious venue and support a band from way out of town.
The Wall
BYU’s restaurant/venue, located on the bottom floor of the Wilkinson Student Center, will be holding regular Open Mic and Karaoke nights on Tuesday and Wednesday – both at 8 PM. The rest of the week is booked by wedding receptions and BYU Baseball games.
Audio West Recording & Event Center (Formerly The Stereo Room)
Audio West is hosting Lehi’s guitar wizard Nick Johnson as he begins his west coast tour this Friday, January 15. He’ll be joined by Salem Swing and Dolli Grace. Click here to learn where he’ll be making stops during his tour. Tickets are $10 at the door. Doors open at 7 PM.
