Shows This Week (5/3/2016-5/7/2016)

As the summer months begin, Provo’s music scene is ramping up the action. See what shows are going on in Utah Valley this week.

Velour Live Music Gallery

Saturday, May 7th, Paul Jacobsen will be performing a “Live Mix Tape” show with a local all-star Provo band. Doors open at 8PM. The show will start around 8:30. Tickets are $10 online here, $12 at the door. Seating is limited. 

Muse Music

On Friday, May 6th, Pillars of Salt Zine will release their first magazine issue. To celebrate, New Shack, Batty Blue, Alyssa Pyper and Bubbline are putting on a show.

Saturday, May 7th, The Solarists, Rabid Young from Las Vegas, and No Robot will take the Muse stage.

These shows are $7, and doors open at 8PM both nights.

Gezzo Hall

Saturday, May 7th, Breezeway, Small Lake City, and Motion Coaster will perform at Gezzo Hall. Doors open at 7PM. Tickets are $7 online.

The Wall

As of the publication of this article, The Wall has no shows scheduled for this week.

Audio West Recording Studios & Event Center

Friday, May 6th, Former Tides will kick off their 2016 Spring Tour at Audio West. They’ll be joined by I Am Haunted, Harbor Patrol and Vitaé. Tickets are $7 online.

The Garage

The Garage will begin their month of free Friday shows this weekend, May 6th. DJ A D R I E L , DJ Bah-Lah-Kay (Blake), and DJ Club Deco will get the month started off right with a free dance party.

Special Events

Friday, May 6th, Rooftop Concert Series will start off the summer right with performances from The Strike, The Aces, and Mimi Knowles. This event is free, and starts at 7:30 in front of the Nu Skin building (100 W and Center Street).

Friday, May 6th, Sean Carey, the drummer for Bon Iver, is putting on a private show in Provo on his Living Room Tour. Tickets can be bought here for $20. The show starts at 8PM and the address will be sent only to those who bought a ticket.
