News Shows This Week (6/28/2016 – 7/2/2016)

See what shows are happening this week at major venues in the Provo/Orem area.

Velour Live Music Gallery

Wednesday, June 29th, Velour will host their monthly acoustic showcase featuring Kyson Kidd, Derk Boss, Cherish Degraaf, and Mathew Deason. Tickets are $7 at the door (cash only).

Thursday, June 30th, David Bowie tribute band Major Tom & The Moonboys will be joined by Prince tribute band Funky Violet. You can buy tickets online for $8, or at the door for $10 (cash only).

Per usual at Velour, doors to both of these shows open at 8PM.

Muse Music

On Thursday, July 30th, Bruneel, Cinders, and Michael Barrow take the Muse stage. Tickets to this show are $7 at the door. Doors open at 8PM.

Gezzo Hall

As of the writing of this article, Gezzo Hall has not announced any shows for this week.

The Wall

As of the writing of this article, The Wall has not announced any shows for this week.

Audio West Recording Studio & Event Center

On Thursday, June 30th, Lakoda from Boise, Boy King, Eminent Sol, and PACE take the stage. Doors open at 8PM.

The Garage

On Saturday, July 2nd, The Garage will host Grey Glass, Paint The Woods, and Velour Battle of The Bands finalists Motion Coaster. Admission is free.

Special Events

Best in Music will be hosting local musicians playing acoustic sets every Wednesday through August. This week they will feature We Include Pluto and Red Yeti. Tickets are $3, or $2 if you have liked or followed Best in Music on social media. You can get in free with a Best in Music receipt of $5+ of the date of the show.

Friday, July 1st will be the next Rooftop Concert Series show. These free shows happen the first Friday of every month in Downtown Provo throughout the Summer months. This month the show will be headlined by The National Parks, who will be joined by RKDN and Hive Riot.

Saturday, July 2nd, One City Provo is putting on another show in an effort to raise funds to benefit the homeless. Performances by Stephen Cope, Jessica Frech, Jocelyn Larsen, Wounded Knee, Pipes, Taylor Ross Wilson, Jadyn and Jonni Turley, The Naked Waiters, Bubbline, Aubree Liz Schill, and Aly Hardy.
