Velour’s Open Mic Night is Wednesday, January 12 at 8 PM. Get there early – it’s a prestigious Open Mic and slots fill up fast.
Velour’s Sweet 16 Anniversary Shows will take place this week from January 13 through January 15. Doors for all of these shows open at 8 PM. Artists TBA.
The Boardwalk
On Friday, January 14 at 8:30 PM, The Boardwalk is holding THA VISION Presents: REDSHIRTSZN. Hosted by DJ Teo, this event is a “Bowl Game.” It features performances from “The Offense” (DBLACC and Young Ross) and “The Defense” (Franktha3rd and JB Roy) with additional performances from Courtney Kelly and Rock Zoe. Guests are encouraged to wear Red or Blue. Tickets are $10 and available online here.
On Saturday, January 15 at 7:30 PM, Runaway Tourist, Strawberry Jam, Comas, & Homestyle Dinner Rolls will perform at The Boardwalk. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online here.
BYU
On Friday, January 14 at 7:30 PM, Living Legends will put on a Pre Tour Performance in the Dance Performance Theatre on BYU Campus. Their performance will feature music and dance numbers honoring the cultural heritage of the Americas and the South Pacific. This show is sold out.
On Friday, January 14 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, January 15 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM, the Emmy Award-winning all-vocal ensemble Vocal Point will perform in the Pardoe Theatre on BYU Campus. This show is sold out.
