Velour’s Open Mic Night is February 2 at 8 PM. Performance slots fill up fast, so get there early.
On Friday, February 4, Harbor Patrol, With Andrea, and The Goodfellas will take the Velour stage. With Andrea put on an epic performance at the most recent Velour Battle of the Bands Finals, so you won’t want to miss this. Doors open at 8 PM. Tickets are $10 online here.
On Friday, February 4th, Youth Pool, Simian Crease, and Loves3at will perform. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $7 online here.
On Saturday, February 5th, No Such Animal will perform alongside Spencer Nelson and Mel. Doors open at 7:30 PM. You can snag tickets online here for $8.
On February 2nd at 7:30 PM in the de Jong Concert Hall, BYU will host their Winter Choirfest. Known for their polished performances and versatility of genre and style, BYU’s four auditioned choirs – Men’s Chorus, Women’s Chorus, Concert Choir, and BYU Singers – will perform. Tickets for balcony seating are still available online here.
Java Junkie hosts an open mic night every Friday at 7 PM.
February 4th and 5th at 7 PM, The Angelus Theatre in Spanish Fork will present “Moments in the Woods: A Broadway Review and Stephen Sondheim Tribute.” Tickets are $10, $8 for students. All proceeds will be donated directly to local theatre/arts programs and will benefit women involved in the Miss America Organization.
The Covey Center for the Arts
Tonight, January 31, The Covey Center for the Arts presents the Excellence Concert Series. Pianist Cahill Smith and other musicians from Utah State University and the Utah Symphony will perform Brahms’ Horn Trio, Op. 40 along with solo works of Beethoven, Liszt, Medtner, and more! Admission is free. The show starts at 7:30 PM.
On Friday, February 5 at 7:30 PM, The Covey Center for the Arts presents Imagine: The Beatles. Featuring convincing accents, detailed costumes, and authentic vintage instruments, a Beatles tribute band will perform the classics. Tickets are $15 online here.
