Earlier this summer, we discussed the release of the Beck Brothers’ debut self-titled EP. The culmination of years spent jamming together in their childhood home, Skyler and and Zach Beck’s record was praised for its fusion of twangy instrumentation and non-country, every-man vocals. Their group has opened for world-renowned acts like Tim O’Brien and Ryan Shupe & The RubberBand.
This week, the Covey Center for the Arts is bringing the Beck Brothers to their main stage this Saturday as part of the Excellence Concert Series โ a free series that is made possible through generous donations from the community. Donors include Larry H. Miller Charities, the Sorenson Legacy Foundation, and the Utah Division of Arts & Museums among over a dozens others.
“With their masterful playing and relatable songwriting, this is an energetic live show that will entertain audiences of all ages,” says the Covey Center in a statement about the show. Additional shows in the Excellence Concert Series will take place later this month at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City. For more information, click here.
Beck Brothers will perform on Saturday, October 14 at 7:30 PM on the Covey Center Main Stage in downtown Provo, Utah. Free admission. Make sure to follow Beck Brothers on Instagram and check out their song “Better Plans” below.
