With so much music in the Provo music scene, it’s easy to get sucked in and start listening to music in a bubble. It’s always great to see what awaits you in the broader world of sonic textures, and to find new recommendations that can inspire you to make music differently than you did before.

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Aubryanna, a brand new pop songstress from South Jersey. Her debut single, “CoverGirl,” is anthemic, moody, and powerful. With crisp snares, growly synth bass, and some cool guitar work at the climax that’s reminiscent of Julian Michael’s solo instrumental work, Aubryanna knocks it out of the park.

For a first release, this is an absolute home run and is a really promising start to a bold new career. Her voice gives me Alessia Cara/Tori Kelly vibes, but with some more chocolatey alto oomph. It’s really solid. I’m a fan.

Make sure to follow Aubryanna on Instagram and check out her debut single “CoverGirl” below.
