As we approach the start of another school year, it’s worth remembering that Velour isn’t the only place in Provo to see awesome live music. Every year, BYU hosts the BRAVO! Professional Performing Arts Series, full of performances from (as you might guess) professionals across the artistic field. The 2024-2025 season’s roster includes Olivier and Tony Award nominee Ramin Karimloo, celebrated coloratura soprano Erin Morley, the internationally acclaimed Trinity Irish Dance Company, and many more. Lyndsay Keith, producer and presenter of the BRAVO! Series, highlighted the series’ mission to uplift and enrich lives through the arts. “The 2024โ€“25 season of the BRAVO! Series features artists chosen for their exceptional talents and their ability to resonate with our audience. These performances are not just entertaining; they embody our commitment to sharing light and hope,” said Keith.

Eric Liddell: The Chariot of Fire, September 20-21

The season kicks off with Eric Liddell: The Chariot of Fire, a play by the Searchlight Theatre Company that delves into the moral dilemmas faced by the Scottish Olympian Eric Liddell. This is followed by performances from Jared Grimes, known for his tap-dancing prowess, and Dominik Wagner, a virtuoso double bassist. The lineup continues with performances from Daniel Cook, Erin Morley, Firas Zreik, and the Grammy-winning ensemble Third Coast Percussion.
