Hot off their 2023 Tiny Desk Contest triumph, Little Moon is set to light up the West Coast this November with a tour that promises to be nothing short of transformative. Following their NPR-sponsored tour and a game-changing signing with Joyful Noise, Little Moon is building notable momentum. Their latest single, โ€œnow,โ€ offers a tantalizing preview of whatโ€™s to come on Dear Divineโ€”a deeply introspective record that dives into themes of love, loss, and personal metamorphosis.

โ€œnowโ€ is more than just a single; itโ€™s a raw, emotional journey through Hardymanโ€™s quest for authenticity amid societal pressures. โ€œItโ€™s a deeply personal reflection on my struggle to be present and authentic in a world full of expectations and insecurities,โ€ she shares.

The accompanying music video, directed by Ty Davis, paints a vivid picture of Hardymanโ€™s inner turmoil. Set in a surreal, theatrical landscape, the visual narrative explores her attempt to break free from the constraints of false beliefs, reflecting her personal battles and the broader theme of self-discovery.

โ€œGrowing up, I often felt like I was putting on a performance just to fit in,โ€ Hardyman explains. โ€œโ€˜nowโ€™ is a message to myself that in our brokenness and vulnerability, we can find true connection and love.โ€

Unlike their debut album Unphasedโ€”a raw, live recording that eschewed studio polish for an unfiltered and authentic soundโ€”Dear Divine promises a lush, intricate sonic experience. Co-produced by Hardyman and Bly Wallentine, the album marries ethereal harp plucks with Zelda-inspired synths, creating a rich auditory tapestry that complements its thematic exploration of love and grief.

As Little Moon prepares to hit the road this fall, fans can expect an immersive live experience that brings Dear Divineโ€™s profound themes to life.
