Provo Music Magazine isnโt quite as ubiquitous as pumpkin-spice, but we draw closer and closer to autumn ubiquity with each new fall print edition of the magazine! We’ll be a household name in no time โ and with that notoriety will come attention to all the incredible Utah musicians we feature each issue.
In our cover story, Joe Vickrey interviews producer, engineer, and Acacia Ridge member Flip Twogood. He takes a deep dive into how Aggressive Audio began, and how 16,000 hours of mixing experience is blessing the lives of bands in the Utah music scene.
In addition to our cover story, we also have reviews of some of our favorite albums to come out of Utah in the last few months, a recap of Velour’s Summer 2025 Battle of the Bands, an interview with English Budgies about their new signature pedal, and news about 3hive’s new location and the two Provo artists who appeared on Netflix’s Building The Band.
Provo Music Magazine can be snagged for free at any of the following locations: Velour Live Music Gallery, Java Junkie, Provoโs Vintage Groove, 3hive Record Lounge, Bill Harris Music, June Audio, and many other shops along Center Street and University Avenue in Provo, at Provo Towne Centre, and in The Shops at Riverwoods. We’re incredibly thankful for these local businesses for stocking the magazine and doing their part to build up the Utah music scene.
Our print editions are also lovingly distributed by local bands as part of our Work For Music program. Special thanks to Michael Barrow & The Tourists, Joey Brandin, and English Budgies for their help in sharing Provo Music Magazine with the community. Additionally, each print issue is mailed directly to our gracious subscribers. Subscribers not only receive guaranteed access to the latest and greatest print issues, but they can also take pride in knowing their support directly helps us continue employing local photographers, musicians, writers, and other creatives. Become a Provo Music Magazine subscriber today!
Lastly, we want to give a shout out to our sponsors for this issue: Explore Utah Valley, The Covey Center for the Arts, Grandpaโs Family Dental, Bluerock Medical, Java Junkie, and the Provo Farmers Market. Support them when you can โ and tell them PMM sent you.
