Has the lack of this year’s Buzzards and Bees got you down? Don’t sweat it, Provo Music Magazine has you covered for all the spooky vibes this season leading up to All Saints Fest this Saturday.

Witches, ghosts, and monsters have been a popular subject among Utah’s musicians in recent years, and we’ve put all of the goblins and ghouls together on one playlist for you so won’t need to hunt them down.

From No Such Animal’s viral rocker “Witches in Salt Lake City” to the rockabilly toe-tapper “Monster Under My Bed” by Cougar Gold Music, the scene has all genres and moods covered. Feeling nostalgic for your past trick or treating groups? “Ghost 2” by Indigo Waves has you covered. Want to have something hip-shaking for your house party? I can’t think of a more potent pairing than “Silhouette (Halloween Song)” by Always Her.

We’ve even got “Scarecrow” by Citizen Soldier; “The Zombie Song” by Stephanie Mabey; and “Poltergeist” by Book On Tape Worm.

Though I must admit, I’m surprised we don’t have any songs about Vampires. Is our culture still recovering from Twilight? Bands and artists: we’re calling on you to fill this hole in our mad scientist hearts.

Wait, that’s a great lyric idea. Let me write that down.

Stream the playlist below! Come see your favorite local musicians, shop local wares, and enjoy sainthood on Saturday, November 1st at All Saints Music Fest. Performances will stretch across 7 venues in downtown Provo. More details soon!
