For the first time in the history of ever, Velour Live Music Gallery has a new website. This historic change coincides with the 20th anniversary of the venue, and was announced at Velour’s private 20th Anniversary Party on January 20, 2026.

The announcement, made by Velour’s resident MC John Schultz, is significant because Velour’s classic website is so old that it outlived Adobe Flash itself. The website has only been updated once prior to this major update — and that was to figure out a Flash alternative in order to restore the original site in all its tiny, curtained glory. 

The new website features a robust calendar, as well as venue information and ticket links. 

This is but one small part of Velour’s 20th Anniversary Celebration. This week is full of reunion shows from bands important to Velour’s history — many of whom are temporarily reuniting this week specifically for the anniversary.

On Thursday, January 22, Provo music fans can catch Eyes Lips Eyes, Kid Theodore, and Can’t Stop Won’t Stop.

On Friday, January 23, Sego, The New Electric Sound, and Chasing Kings will perform.

On Saturday, January 24, The Moth & the Flame, Parlor Hawk, and Polytype will take the stage.
