Itโ€™s hard to believe itโ€™s already been five years since June Audio found its home in its current form. But anyone whoโ€™s been part of the journey knows that the story of this studio is far from a straight line. What began as Scott Wiley’s bedroom recording project has grown into a bustling creative hub.

Over the years, June took shape in an eclectic mix of spaces before landing back in the same Provo house โ€“ and bedrooms โ€“ it started in. Fast forward to today, and the addition of Studio 1 and Studio 2 has solidified the space as a go-to for artists, brands, and voices of all kinds.

Within the last five years, the new June Audio location has conducted between 2,500 and 3,000 sessions, helping turn everything from albums to corporate voiceovers into sonic realities. Benson Boone, The Killers, John Legend, Neon Trees, Post Malone, IDKHow, and Anderson .Paak have all stopped by Provo to make some new music at June.

Recently, Mastering.com took over June Audio for three days to host an in-person event for their students. The Sound of Ages Choir also stopped in to record composer Andrew Maxfield’s new composition, “Darkness Starts.” Word on the street is that a brand new Fictionist record is in the works. And Provo Music Magazine’s own Drums Only is happening for the first time on November 14.

Additionally, June Audio’s Producer’s Club gives members of the Provo music industry exclusive access to classes designed for every level of recording experience. Introductory classes cover the basics; fundamental classes combine and apply core concepts; and advanced level classes dig in deep and help you hone your craft. Taught by Scott Wiley and June’s other talented engineers and producers like Nate Pyfer and Jed Jones, it’s one of the multifaceted ways June is providing value to downtown Provo.

“Itโ€™s been the realization of a dream, and an honor to be part of helping your dreams,” says founder Scott Wiley. “Thanks to all of you for being part of our first five. Hereโ€™s to five more.”
