By this point in 2025, we’ve already had announcement after announcement of incredible Utah music events happening this spring and summer. Between Fork Fest, Stadium of Fire, Twilight series, and next month’s Kilby Block Party, you’re bound to find something worth checking out. However, if you’re still looking for the right concert series to scratch your musical itch, the Utah Symphony and Deer Valley Music Festival might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Deer Valley Music Festival is an annual concert series and the summer home for the Utah Symphony and Utah Opera. It’s hosted in Park City, Utah, with most events happening in the Snow Park Outdoor Ampitheater and St. Mary’s Catholic Church nearby. Each year the festival runs through July and August and features the Utah Symphony performing both themed concerts as well as with other esteemed entertainers. Previous festival guests from all over the musical spectrum have included Ben Folds, The B-52s, Earth Wind & Fire, Idina Menzel, Smokey Robinson, Elvis Costello, and Gladys Knight.

This year’s lineup once again delivers on the variety, with guest performances from rock legends The Beach Boys, internet sensation Lindsey Stirling, and three-time Grammy-winning rapper Common. Other performances will include tributes to Journey, Paul Simon, and John Williams, as well as a Disney-themed night, multiple nights dedicated to classical composers, and a patriotic performance right in time for Independence Day kicking the whole thing off. Once again, this series has a bit of something for everyone.
