Summer is full of all kinds of fantastic traditions. There are few things that scream summer more than watermelon, pool parties, and live events like Fork Fest and Stadium of Fire. But here at Provo Music Magazine, we know it wouldn’t really be summer without Velour’s Battle of the Bands to turn up the heat. Fortunately for us (and you) Velour Live Music Gallery just announced their lineup for their Summer 2025 battle!

Those of you who have been following the scene for a while already know the legendary legacy of Velour’s Battle of the Bands, with previous winners including the likes of Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees, The Aces, The Backseat Lovers, Cardinal Bloom and more! Check out the 20 bands ready to throw their hats in the ring with the hope of etching their names into the record books below!

Lineup TBD

This year’s lineup is absolutely STACKED. We’ve got a spread of genres from folk to hardcore and everything in between, plus some of my personal favorite groups in the scene right now. I can’t even give you a guess as to who to watch out for as each night has at least one band who are returning after a previous Velour BotB effort. That said, the rookie groups always take the judges by surprise, and you can never take anything for granted at these events. (Well, besides the fact that the last week of June is about to be INCREDIBLE.)

Velour’s Summer 2025 Battle of the Bands will take place Monday, June 23, through Saturday, June 28. Doors open each night at 7:30 PM, and tickets will be $12 at the door. Be sure to follow Velour on Instagram to find out who’s moving on to finals each night!

While you’re getting prepped for battle, be sure to check out “Parker” from Aurhe, who play Friday night!
