Ladies and gentleghouls, spooky season is officially just around the corner! And with the approach of Halloween comes another upcoming celebration of spookiness, the annual Buzzards and Bees music festival in downtown Provo! This year’s festival is taking things to the next level with even more of the spooky musical goodness that’s absolutely to die for.

For those fresh to the scene, Buzzards and Bees is an annual combined music festival and costume party that takes over downtown Provo for one Saturday in October. The Friday night previous kicks the celebration off with Goth Prom (a dance party at Velour Live Music Gallery), and buying just one ticket gets you access to more music than you can imagine. The 2024 Buzzards and Bees will start with Goth Prom on Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19 will include 11 venues and over 80 bands!

*gasps for air* Ok, brief break to say I’m not going to keep hyperlinking to our coverage because doing just this much has already taken much longer than I care to admit. There are so so so many great artists here, and odds are we’ve covered them at least once before. Use the search bar if you’re curious and want to read more. *deep inhale*

…Brother O Mine, Derm, Lindenfield, Carson Ferris, Waters Rising, Just Khakis, Viridian, The By And By, Sabrina Fair, Skip Hansen, Webalo, I’d Rather Be, Shrink The Giant, Kenya, Treeson, Bellagrace, Del Perro, Cutie, Rex, Honeysauce, The Painted Roses Mel Soul & The Heartbeat, Crewless, Late For What, Always Her, Ryan Call, Care, Anni Pasto, John Elwoon Morgan, Chac Xol, Joey Bradin, Bentelou, Sasha Haydn, Everett Dalton, Tryzlador, Mahogany Rose, and more are hinted to be revealed in the coming weeks!

With things changing up a bit in downtown Provo over the past year, the venues are also slightly different than 2023. Check it out!

One final change to this year’s festival comes by way of the tickets. Instead of buying one ticket that provides access to both Goth Prom and all 11 venues on Saturday, you can now choose to buy individual day tickets if you’re only interested in events on one of the two days. Tickets for Friday only are $13, tickets for Saturday only are $25, and combined passes for both days are $35. Tickets are available now through Buzzards and Bees, but you can save a bit by getting a discount code from one of the performing artists. Just reach out to them or check their Instagram accounts and save yourself some $$$ for your costume! (Note: Ticket prices will go up, so get yours now before that happens!)

New details are coming out nearly every day, so be sure to follow Buzzards and Bees on Instagram to stay in the loop. We’ll have another guide for helping you get the most out of the festival once it’s a bit closer, but until then, check out the official 2024 Buzzards and Bees playlist below!
